"First Hearing," hosted by the late Lloyd Moss, featured a changing panel of experts who gave their opinions of new, unidentified recordings. On this, the show's 20th anniversary program, taped before a live audience at WQXR in 1988, the panelists doing the critiquing are Edward Downes, Martin Bookspan and Robert Sherman.
We present the show in memory of Moss, who died on Aug. 4 at age 86.
